October’s Stars at Bill Howe; Monthly Award Winners Announced
Bill Howe is proud to recognize Jose Davilla, Brian Dorney, Louie Sepulveda, and George Rivera for upholding the Bill Howe Way. The Bill Howe Special recognition awards are presented at each monthly company meeting recognizing excellence during the previous month.
*Because of the Holidays, the November Company meeting was not held, so employees could enjoy Thanksgiving with their families. Both October and November award recipients were announced at the December company meeting.
Jose Davilla, part of Bill Howe Reconstruction, was presented with the Leading by Example Award for his outstanding performance in October. Jose arrives early to work, gets straight to his tasks and completes every job in the recon department to perfection. Additionally, he keeps his truck organized, has perfect attendance, and always looks professional.
Brian Dorney is the Customer Service Award Winner for the month of October for his consistent delivery of excellent service. He is one of our San Diego heating stars, the most requested installation technician and simply a nice guy. During October, Brian successfully completed a large job that did not go as planned. He was able to find solutions for the customer, creating a seamless install that could have been problematic.
Louie Sepulveda has been one of Bill Howe’s exemplary plumbers in San Diego since beginning in 2006. He is also a journeyman plumber having graduated from the PHCC Apprenticeship program in 2013, and is truly committed to the Bill Howe Way. He is October’s recipient for the Above & Beyond Award for his dedication to the Bill Howe softball team, and his collection of several outstanding 5-star reviews online at Yelp and Angie’s List. He is also a dedicated Bill Howe volunteer, attending the food bank nights on a regular basis.
George Rivera, in water remediation division of Bill Howe Restoration & Reconstruction, was presented with the October Excellence award for his work on a recent flood. The flood affected the home’s master bathroom, kitchen, dining room, bathroom and crawlspace and had damages near $7,000.00. George completed his dry out and mitigation over the course of 9 days, documenting everything to ensure the homeowner would be compensated through insurance, communicating with the plumbers in San Diego and the homeowner. The job was extremely large and complicated, and George was able to handle it professionally and alleviate the stress on the homeowner.
