San Diego Plumbers Making this Holiday Season Brighter for “Toys for Tots”

Bill Howe Plumbing Hosts Marine Toys for Tots Drop-off Location for Second Year

November 26, 2013 San Diego, Calif. – Bill Howe Plumbing has been one of the largest family-owned and operated service and repair companies in San Diego. Plumbers at Bill Howe number over 80, and they have been offering additional services in heating & air conditioning and restoration & flood as well since 2007 and 2009 respectively. They have the size to take care of most every problem, large and small, and the dedicated ideals ideals to treat customers as part of the family. Part of their success in San Diego has also come from their dedication to giving back to the San Diego community.

The U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program has been an official Marine activity since 1995. Their mission has always been to collect new, unwrapped toys during the months leading up to Christmas, Toys for Tots donates these as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the local community where the toys are received.

This will be the second year that the local San Diego heating, plumbing and restoration company has volunteered to host their office as a drop off location. In 2011, together with customer and employee donations, the company filled both boxes at their old location. This year, they hope to once again fill their donation boxes and even to far exceed the previous year’s results.

In addition to U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots Program, the Bill Howe Family of Companies also regularly supports the Warrior Foundation-Freedom Station, helping transitioning soldiers in need with pro bono plumbing work, golf tournament sponsorships and employee led fundraisers.
