That’s why each month we present four awards honoring the outstanding achievements of employees from the previous month. Christian Arguilez is one of our best San Diego drain specialists and active in all of Bill Howe’s community events. Each month he donates his time with the Bill Howe volunteer team at the Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank. He has a giving spirit and that is why we are proud to award him with the Above & Beyond Award for June.

Leading by Example is the Award we present to employees who exemplify the Bill Howe Way. Our winner for May is Oscar Martinez, the epitome of perfection. He has 100 percent arrival times and attendance, as well as being one of the most organized San Diego plumbers we have had on our team.

Our Excellence winner for the month of June is a dynamic duo, Edgar Godinez and Chris Orwen. Godinez has been with Bill Howe since 2004 and is one of the best. Chris, a recent graduate of the San Diego Plumbing Academy (through the PHCC) and recipient of his Journeyman Card is fast proving his skills in the field. The team was met with a challenge to repipe 500 ft of gas line underneath landscaping nad concrete. They did an amazing job, finishing under bid time, and left the La Jolla homeowners happy and with a beautifully landscaped area.

Joel Pearson is one of our first true cross over employees and our winner for Customer Service. Joel began as a restoration delivery driver and moved his way up to full emergency mitigation services specialist before moving into the plumbing department. He is a second-year student at the San Diego plumbing Academy, and was recently promoted to his own service truck. Joel has won every customer over with his craftsmanship skills and great customer service and communication skills.
