Bill Howe All-Star Plumbers for April Achivements

Bill Howe started his San Diego plumbing company in 1980 and has grown from a one-man operation with one division to over 170 employees across four divisions. Part of the success in the last 37 years has been hiring and retaining quality employees.

One of the key components to creating a place where great employees want to work is by offering ample recognition for their excellence. That’s why Bill and Tina Howe started a recognition program for the company.

Each month, we honor our team members for their achievements the previous month. All employees are eligible and the recipients are chosen by a panel based on criteria in each category of award. four company awards are presented for Above & Beyond, Customer Service, Leading by Example, and Excellence highlighting volunteerism, job site excellence and craftsmanship, leading the Bill Howe Way, and of course providing the very best customer service

For the month of April, we are proud to recognize Scott Dinwiddie, Doug Powell, Gustavo Valle and D.J. Williams, all part of our all-star San Diego plumbing team!

Scott Dinwiddie is a prime example of our Above & Beyond Award going beyond the job description to deliver the very best in service and in the community. Scott attends every volunteer night with Bill Howe, participates in all of our wellness events, receives great online reviews and we are proud to have recently promoted him to a full-fledged San Diego plumber.

Our award winner for Leading by Example is Doug Powell. Doug has been a San Diego plumber with Bill Howe since 1993. He adheres to all Bill Howe policies and embodies the Bill Howe Way. He is also the king of gas line repairs and installations, at Bill Howe and likely all of San Diego!

Our Excellence winner will be recognized again soon when he graduates from the San Diego Plumbing-Heating-Cooling-Contractor’s Academy as a Journeyman plumber. He recently completed a difficult job to perfection and we are proud to honor his excellence.

D.J. Williams is another of our great examples of a talented San Diego plumber. He has been with Bill Howe for 11 years and delivers the very best in Customer Service. In April, he was called upon twice while off duty to assist a colleague, and he helped to ensure his customers would have hot water over a long weekend. He is truly deserving of recognition and we are pleased to name his as the Customer Service Winner for his achievements in April.  spent his Saturday off once again helping his peer and delivering a great experience for a customer.
