November Awards Recognized at Bill Howe!

Bill Howe is proud to recognize Sergio Cota, Doug Powell, Edgar Godinez, and Jim Richards, Mike Castaing, Mel Sturla and garrett Serrano for upholding the Bill Howe Way. The Bill Howe Special recognition awards are presented at each monthly company meeting recognizing excellence during the previous month.

*Because of the Holidays, the November Company meeting was not held, so employees could enjoy Thanksgiving with their families. Both October and November award recipients were announced at the December company meeting.

Sergio Cota has been with Bill Howe Plumbing in San Diego since 2007. He first started as a lining tech, but joined the warehouse and has been an integral part ever since. He is meticulous and an exemplary employee, which is why he was presented with the November Leading by Example award.

Doug Powell is the Customer Service Award Winner for November. Bill Howe received an outstanding review form one of his customers, Mike T. that shows why he is the best San Diego plumber out there! The following excerpt speaks volumes and is not a surprise, as Doug is one of the best:

Edgar Godinez is one of Bill Howe’s Team Leaders, with excellent results in the improvement of company morale and his team’s performance. He is the November recipient for the Above & Beyond Award for his commitment to the Bill Howe Family of Companies volunteer efforts with the San Diego Food Bank, and impressive online reviews. He is also a regular attendee of Bill Howe sponsored 5k’s and willing to go out of his way to help his team and the company.

The San Diego lining crew, Jim Richards, Mike Castaing, Mel Sturla, Garret Serrano, and Ian Adame were recognized as a group and presented with the November  Excellence award for their work at a 20 story high rise in downtown San Diego. The project lasted for three weeks, and the crew lined 475’ of 4 and 5-inch cast iron vertical waste lines, as well as the vent lines. They completed the job ahead of schedule and under budget.
