Nebia: The Future of Showering?
“You’ve taken thousands of showers. You’ve never experienced Nebia.” That’s the promise that a new product gaining notice on Kickstarter claims.
At Bill Howe, we help customers in San Diego with pluming problems in their showers on a daily basis. We fix leaks, we install state of the art shower heads, we diagnose water savings opportunities, and we educate customers in how they can get the most out of their plumbing fixtures. That’s why were excited to share this new product with our customers, especially as we face a major drought in California.
Nebia addresses the challenge of saving water while you shower without losing the luxury that showering brings. At the end of a long hard working day, there’s nothing better than a shower; not just any shower, but an experience that washes away the days stress and renews you to enjoy the time you deserve-your time!
However, California is in a major drought, so luxury is often tossed aside to do our part in conserving water. So we do less laundry, we cut our relaxing shower time and we save water. But, we suffer. Nebia solves this and offers constenintous consumers the opportunity to do their part without sacrificing the luxury.
The creators at Nebia have spent the last five years developing technology to optimize the shower experience so you are left “feeling clean, refreshed and ready to take on what’s next,” the perfect water temperature, the perfect anoint of water r pressure and an experience that will leave you feeling empowered to take on what’s next.”
Nebia showers are comprised of specialized nozzles that focus on “warming and rinsing” by dispersing the droplets of water while yielding a large volume of water, while conserving water flow.
Simply put? The Nebia shower uses water in an efficient way! It disperses water in droplets rather than a stream so nothing is wasted, but still allows for strong water pressure; enough to rinse your hair and body, warm you (when called for), and not leave you wanting. Best of all? You can install it yourself!
Nebia is intended to save you money all around by making it easy to install this new technology without a plumber.*
Nebia tells you all you need is:
- A shower that extends from the wall (not the ceiling)
- Water supply above 5’ from the wall
- A shower clearance of at least 5’
- At least 35 PSI (the norm recommended form our plumbers in San Diego is approx. 55-70 PSI)
- 115 degree water (this falls into the norm in San Diego)
Most homeowners will find they meet all criteria and if you’re interested, you can read more here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1499369835/nebia-shower-better-experience-70-less-water (This link will take you to a third party website: Kickstarter).
And while Bill Howe is not currently installing the Nebia, we couldn’t help but share yet another way you can save water! But, we are always happy to help you determine the best setup for your individual needs. So don’t hesitate to call 1-800- Bill hew (245-5469) and ask questions; we are here for you!
And, if you find a neat product you want to share, let us know so we can see “Howe” it works and help our San Diego plumbing counters make the most out of their home needs!
