June Award Winners Announced at Bill Howe!

At the Bill Howe Family of Companies, we believe in routinely recognizing our team for their excellence in service and highlighting their achievements. When they are valued, we know they in turn take care of you, our customer!

That’s why we present four awards at every company meeting held once each month. At our July meeting, we were so pleased to present the following team as our June Award Winners: Brian Rice, R.J. Bolas, Samuel Ramirez, and a team of thee San Diego water damage specialists: Carlos Sandoval, George Rivera, and Juan Santacruz.

Brian Rice, June Above & Beyond Award Winner

Brian Rice began his career with Bill Howe as an office assistant and after training and being promoted to his own truck, he has spent his time to become a master plumber in San Diego. For the past year, he has also been one of Bill Howe’s Team Leaders in the plumbing division and leading his team to a record improvement in online reviews, event participation and arrival times. He is the June recipient of the Above and Beyond Award for his amazing efforts in June, as well as his leading the Bill Howe Volunteer team at the monthly San Diego Food Bank volunteer night.

Our Customer Service Award for June is R.J. Bolas. He was one of the first plumbers to graduate from the San Diego Plumbing Heating Cooling Contractors Academy in its inaugural year (2012) and an outstanding representative for the company. In June, R.J. was faced with a challenging job that he was able to expertly solve. He saved our customer with professionalism, and she shared with us that he is “the best plumber” she has had. We are proud to honor his excellent customer care!

The Leading by Example Award embodies the Bill Howe Way. We truly have the best team in San Diego, and our June winner is form the heating & air division. Samuel Ramirez was recently promoted to a Lead Installer continually demonstrating his expertise and adherence to our high standards of professionalism and ethics. We are proud to award him the June LBE Award and even more excited to have him as a dedicated Bill Howe team member.

Our job Excellence Award is typically one of the more difficult to choose, as we have so many submissions each month. Our team of plumbers, water damage specialists, and HVAC technicians are proud of their work and for good reason. For June, we are proud to recognize three of our water damage team for the perfect job on a tricky mold situation. Carlos Sandoval, George Rivera, and Juan Santacruz worked extremely hard to meet the needs of our customer and mitigate water damage in order to restore their property quickly. There were many different people involved, and Carlos as the Project Manager, delivered the highest level of communication throughout the seven-day process. They also ensured all safety standards were met and gave our customers the best experience.
