Bill Howe: San Diego’s Best in 2016

On August 21, 2016, Bill Howe was named by the Union Tribune as San Diego’s Best Plumber, Heating & Air Company, and Contractor.  Nominations for the 2016 Best of SD Reader’s Poll were open early summer, and the top ten companies in each category were eligible to receive votes through June 27. Bill Howe was nominated as San Diego’s Best Plumber, Best Heating & Air, and Best contractor and it is an honor to have been chosen as the top winner in all three categories.

Part of our Plumbing success comes from our dedication to training our technicians. All of our field team is offered the opportunity to attend the San Diego Plumbing Heating Cooling Contractor’s Academy Journeyman Program. The 4-year course prepares students to take their Journeyman Plumbing Test. Bill Howe currently has 27 students attending, and of the 75 plumbers in the field, Bill Howe has 30 Journeyman.

Our Heating & Air Division was started in 2007, and has grown into a successful aspect of our home services in the past decade. Spearheaded by General Manager, Eric Sanchez, our HVAC team was also named as the best in SD. He was named one of the 2016 top 40 under 4o, chosen by the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration NEWS. Bill Howe Heating & Air recently partnered with the best products in the industry, Lennox, and have consistently delivered the best craftsmanship and service. Bill Howe also sends each technician to advanced training and is proud to be a NATE Certified and HERO registered company.

Our newest division, Bill Howe Restoration & Flood, began in 2009 with Haley Howe taking the lead. She is also the General Contractor License holder, and leads all reconstruction and remodeling operations. Bill Howe was chosen as San Diego’s Best Contractor because of their attention to detail and customer experience, as well as training in the field. From their materials coordinator to each department Project Manager, Bill Howe’s team is trained in industry standards, as well as Ethics and the Bill Howe Way.
