Six Local San Diego Plumbers from Bill Howe Plumbing, Inc. Graduate from PHCC Academy

Local San Diego plumbing company proud to recognize recent graduates from Journeyman Academy

June 30, 2016 San Diego, Calif. – Bill Howe Plumbing, Inc. is one of the largest family-owned and operated service and repair companies in San Diego. Part of the success over 35 years is the commitment to educating their team, offering the community expertly trained specialists ant affordable rates, and by giving back to the community through volunteer work and community sponsorships.

On June 25th, the San Diego Plumbing-Heating-Cooling-Contractor’s Association hosted the 124TH annual Installation of Officers and Graduation Ceremony at the Handlery Hotel & Resort in Mission Valley. The Gala event was Murder Mystery themed with dinner, dancing, and prizes made possible by local industry sponsors.

There were eighteen students graduating from the program, four for the HVAC certification class, and fourteen San Diego plumbers who earned their Journeyman License. Off the fourteen graduates, six came from Bill Howe Plumbing, Inc: Brandon Pettway, Mike Lacey, Allan Aguilar, Steven Winsett, Corey Koenen, and Jeff Justice. This is the fifth year that Bill Howe has had graduates form the program. The San Diego plumbing company offers all of its plumbers and HVAC specialists the opportunity to attend the Academy, paying for all tuition, materials, and on-the-job training. “We are proud to offer our customers the highest trained technicians to take care of their home and family,” said Bill Howe, President of Bill Howe Plumbing, Inc. “It has been an honor to be a part of the local PHCC chapter in San Diego and help to safeguard our industry and continually improve the plumbing and cooling trade for the safety of our community.”

The PHCC Journeyman Apprenticeship program prepares students for the Plumbing Journeyman License Test. Since inception in 2008, the academy has seen hundreds of students complete the program and enter into the trade as licensed Journeyman plumbers.
