Fix-a-Leak Week Blog Series
Launched in 2009 by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the Fix-a-Leak-Week campaign seeks to eliminate unnecessary water waste from minor, and preventable, leaks through education and awareness. It is estimated that over 1 trillion gallons of water is wasted in the United States each year from household and business fixture and irrigation leaks.
Bill Howe Plumbing in San Diego has been the authority on leak detection and repair for 35 years. In honor of “Fix-a-Leak Week,” we will be sharing our expertise and education on ways you can help to eliminate unnecessary water waste and conserve water with a special blog series beginning on Monday March 16th.
While “fix a Leak Week” is March 16-22, every day is an opportunity to “go low” and help reduce water waste and conserve in California. For more information, please visit the homeowner section of the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling-Contractor’s Association website & The San Diego County Water Authority and make an appointment with a licensed contractor to “Fix Leaks and Save Money!”
And come back on Monday for our first blog on water pressure and how it affects plumbing in San Diego!
