Local San Diego plumber takes precautionary steps to keep employees safe

Safety when working in the plumbing industry is paramount to Bill Howe Plumbing. In San Diego, the recent Hepatitis A outbreak has elevated the company’s awareness and need to protect employees who work in conditions that could present potential harm.

In light of the recent outbreak, the company has added vaccinations against Hepatitis A for all plumbing technicians. “Our plumbers in the field work in potentially hazardous conditions and we want to keep them safe,” said HR Manager, Amber Baynard. “We are very focused on our employees’ well being, and choosing to do this for them was a no-brainer.”

Bill Howe Plumbing in San Diego is paying for all three rounds of Hepatitis A vaccinations for all employees who want them. Each vaccination will cost approximately $100, and there are over 60 plumbers, and 20 restoration technicians.
