I spent a few hours working on the extraction of a broken snake in my shower p trap in a slab… couldn’t get it completely out, poured soapy water downt the drain, worked on it about another hour. pushing, pulling, clocwise, counterclockwise… nothing. I looked up “Master Plumbers” on the internet and Bill Howe had some good comments, so I gave it a try. Thought it best to not go any further and break the snake off in the p trap and have a bigger problem than I already had. Several hours later, your Master Plumber, John Edwards arrived to take a look. he grabbed the end of the snake that I had exposed, turned it once, and the darned thing popped out! Couldn’t believe my eyes!! He was truly sent from Heaven, or the best Master Plumber I’ve ever met. Anyway, he didn’t charge me a dime. There was no problem with my drain anyway, as I was just doing some regular preventive maintenance.. I’d used the snake in my shower drains several times before, like I said, just for preventive measures, keeping things clean, but this time I messed up. Well, I’m impressed and thankful that I didn’t have a jack hammer project to look forward to. Thank you Bill Howe, and Thank you John Edwards. I will definitely be calling you when I need any plumbing work done in the future.
