Rebates Are Back! Is it Time for a New Toilet?

There’s a lot of talk about El Nino and the rains we are expecting this winter, but even if we are flooded with water we so desperately need in San Diego, our plumbers are still busy addressing ways in which customers can save water. From high-efficiency fixtures to fixing those slow leaks, Californians are doing their part.

That’s why we’re excited to share that California is giving back! Save Our Water Rebates are available for toilet replacements and when residents replace their lawn with turf.

So, if you’ve been thinking about replacing your toilet, or have a leak and need to replace it, now is the time. Save Our Water rebates are giving customers $100 for replacing their old, inefficient toilets that have a flush capacity of greater than 1.6 gallons per flush with high-efficiency models using 1.28 gallons per flush (or less).

Currently, the rebate program has allocated 6 million to the budget and expects to support over 60,000 toilet replacements in California. It is easy to get your rebate:

  • Saveourwaterrebates.com to check availability of funds
  • Verify a toilet model that meets eligibility requirements (1.28 gpf or less)
  • Purchase/install the qualifying model
  • Complete the online rebate application
  • Receive approval notice & rebate check!

Unsure of which toilets qualify? Check with your local San Diego plumber or one of our Bill Howe experts. We can walk you through all of the available options and even provide the very best toilet for you. Our expert plumbers will also help you to understand how a new high-efficiency model will perform. Manufacturers have designed the new toilets to deliver power and efficiency, so you don’t lose any of the power and still get all the savings!

Don’t hesitate, call 1-800 Bill Howe (245-5469) today and we will take care of all the rest!

What Andy B. via Lennox Pro says about us

We have been using Bill Howe Plumbing’s service for more than 25 years and have been pleasantly surprised at how consistently they perform an excellent service call. We use them for our home and our rental properties, and their dispatchers and technicians have always been the best at problem solving; our tenants have told us how great the service is as well. When we needed air conditioning service, naturally we called Bill Howe first. There’s no reason to call anyone else. I know the job will be done right the first time, with fair pricing and professional service.
