Outstanding Employees Honored for May Excellence

Part of the success at the Bill Howe Family of Companies is in our extensive recognition programs. We believe that when our employees are valued, they in turn value our customers, you! We love to give them extra praise, and in our monthly award program. We recognize outstanding individuals every month.  Our May award winners (presented at our June company meeting) were Steven Winsett, Mauricio Cervantes, Miguel Rodriguez, and S. Bruce.

Steven Winsett will be graduating from the San Diego Plumbing-Heating-Cooling-Contractor’s Academy in June with his Journeyman’s License. He has been part of the Bill Howe team since 2012 and consistently goes above and beyond the call of duty for our customers and community. He regularly attends Bill Howe team-building events, and has great online reviews. He also adds value to his customers by sharing our Bill Howe Family of companies’ different services, and we are proud to recognize his with the Above & Beyond Award for May.

Our Customer Service Award for May was presented to one of our team leaders and more experienced San Diego plumbers, Mauricio Cervantes.  One of our account customers recently had the pleasure to work with Mauricio and had this to say:

“I have been remiss in failing to drop you a note to recognize Mauricio Cervantes. Mauricio collaborated with the general contractor when our master bathroom was remodeled a few months ago, following which he also handled re-piping the majority of our house. 

Mauricio worked extremely hard, showed and followed up when he said he would, and proved to be very knowledgeable. In addition, he was persistent and conscientious in identifying and addressing obstacles he encountered, and always offered sound advice. And, most importantly, he was consistently friendly, courteous, and considerate of our needs and schedules through the entire process.

 In short, Mauricio is a really good man who represented himself and your company in a very positive manner.”

Our Job Excellence recipient for May comes from our Heating & Air Conditioning division. He is also a graduate of the San Diego Plumbing Academy, but found his true passion in HVAC installation. He was promoted to a lead installer and has excelled at every job. He submitted beautiful job photos for May and it was an easy choice to present him with the Award for his commitment to craftsmanship.

The Leading by Example Award is one of our favorites because we are able to hold up our team as pillars of the Bill Howe Way. For May, our Leading by Example winner was another of our talented San Diego plumbers, Miguel Rodriguez. He has been with Bill Howe since 2014, continually exceeding expectations. He has perfect attendance, arrives to his jobs on times, and always looks professional. He is truly dedicated to being a leader and we commend him.
