Step 2 – Design Development

Once the Preliminary Contract has been signed and the deposit has been collected, we will move on to the Design Development stage. This stage begins with a meeting at which we will present a first draft of the following items that are appropriate to your project; plans/drawings, initial selection of colors, materials and fixtures/appliances as well as 3-D computer renderings of your space.

At this point, you have the availability of your designer who will accompany you to a “flooring” or “tile” showroom as well as a “cabinet” showroom in order to help with the selection of the specific materials. What makes this especially nice is that fact that the designer can provide suggestions and advice without the pressure of a “pushy” salesperson. Additionally, we know that coordinating materials and colors can tend to be overwhelming. Therefore, the designer is available to ease this process by gently guiding and assisting you to insure that you are satisfied with your final selections.

The final step in the Design Development stage would be another meeting where the designer will present a final set of plans and drawings, along with final selections of colors, materials and fixtures/appliances and a finalized rendering of the space. We want to be sure that you are completely happy with all of the final selections before we move forward. As a result, we take the time to listen to ensure that the project runs as seamlessly as possible.
